I have been studying for some time now about the real meaning of it all.
And I have come to some startling conclusions.
Most people will not embrace this ideology, but for me it is starting to look like the truth about everything.
Who am I and why do I want you to listen to me? Truth be known I am writing this for my son who is now 12 years old and not you. I wanted to leave him something I felt strongly about most of my life.
In the beginning was nothing, and somehow out of nothing came all that we can see or imagine that is around us today. Somehow it went from a tiny microcosm to a big bang (so the story goes)inturn becoming a macrocosm of microcosms.
Life at this point was springing to life all around the universes, and possibly other Dimensions too. none at the same time. As the Universe expands, more life begins anew and that life starts the progress of evolution. (becoming more advanced)
Some started before others in the evolutionary progression of life, the closer you are to the big bangs origin, the earlier life started in that part of the universe.
Sounds simple enough to understand right.
At some point life on other worlds learned to swim then crawl then walk then run then fly and eventually gain access to the stars above them. Space travel.
Someone or something came to this planet millions of years ago and seeded it.
Why you might ask? Maybe their planet or race was dying out and this planet was the best choice for life.Only they did not know at the time that this planet goes through pole shifts every once in a while. (26,000 years or so)
Based on relative and absolute age dating techniques, geologists now think that the earth was formed about 4,600,000,000 years ago. One of the challenges of any study of the earth is being able to comprehend just how long this is, and for what an extremely small part of it humans have been here.
When it happens, it rips the planet surface apart. In the beginning geologist say that the earth at one time had only one super continent Pangea
About Pangea:
Pangea is the name given by Alfred Wegener to a "super continent" which existed several hundred million years ago. According the the theory of continental drift, this single global continent split up and, through the process of plate tectonics, has resulted in the current locations of the major continental landmasses. The exact day of the split is impossible to determine.
One reason has to do with the incomplete nature of the geologic record: this happened very long ago, nobody was around to keep detailed records, and many of the rocks which were involved with the actual event are not exposed at the surface where we can see them. Another problem relates to the 2nd Law of GeoFantasy: things move REAL SLOW, and it is probable that the initial split took a very long span of time (possibly measured in millions of years).
Based on current theories, Pangea began to split apart near the end of the Triassic period, approximately 200 million years ago (give or take a week). This date is partially based on the ages of basalt flows found in the central portion of the Atlantic Ocean. However, it is probable that the plate motions did not result in an actual ocean basin (now the Atlantic) until much later in the Jurassic.
